How it works:

The moving sand picture is an interactive craft which means you need to flip it to watch the poetry of sand, air, and water mixing together. The sand then slowly settles at the bottom, while the air escapes to the top.

The air bubbles need to be arranged in a straight line so the sand falls in between them evenly. You can also adjust the flow time. In order for sand to fall slower, you need to add a bit of extra air. You can add extra air through the air whole on the side of the picture. To do the opposite you need to reduce the air bubbles in the picture. This is done with a syringe, which comes along with the sand picture. The best thing is that the air hole on the side of the picture lasts for years, so the movement of the sand in the picture is totally adjustable for years to come.
